New bus services for Atherstone

The bus service changes that will be affecting Atherstone from Tuesday 31stMay 2011.

Service 765 operated by Arriva will be revised and will no longer serve Baddesley Ensor. The evening service will be withdrawn. The Sunday service will be replaced by an extension to service 48 operating to Tamworth.

Service 777 operated by Stagecoach will be withdrawn.

Service 762 operated by Central Connect is a new Monday to Saturday town service serving Mancetter and the Ratcliffe Road area every two hours.

Service 763 operated by Central Connect is a new Monday to Saturday service from Birchley Heath and Ridge Lane via Coleshill Road to Atherstone every two hours.

Service 764 operated by Central Connect is a new Monday to Saturday service from Baddesley Ensor to Atherstone every hour with three journeys operating to Baxterley.  

Stagecoach have indicated that they will be operating an additional mid-evening journey on service 48 from Coventry to Atherstone Ratcliffe Road via Bedworth & Nuneaton and return.

The County Council will amend timetable information in existing cases and resources permitting will establish new cases and bus stop flags at a limited number of locations along new routes.
