VACANCY
Parish of Atherstone (North)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council.
If by 2 November, 2022 (14 days excluding Dies Non, after the date of this notice) a request for an election to fill said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TEN electors for the said Parish, an election will be held to fill the said vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
If an election is called, it will take place not later than 5 January, 2023.

that due to the death of a Councillor, a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council.
If by 19 April, 2022 (14 days excluding Dies Non, after the date of this notice) a request for an election to fill said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TEN electors for the said Parish, an election will be held to fill the said vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
If an election is called, it will take place not later than 24 June, 2022.

ATHERSTONE HONORARY CITIZEN 2022
Nominations are now open until 16th November 2021.
Do you know someone who deserves the award of Honorary Citizen of Atherstone 2022?
The Town Council would be interested to hear from you with the names and details of individuals who volunteer their time for the good of the community of Atherstone and who have done so for a number of years.
The award is to be decided by resolution of the full Town Council at the meeting on November 17th 2021 with an Awards Ceremony in the Spring 2022.
Written nominations must be made through one of the Town Councillors and received no later than Midday on Tuesday 16th November 2021.

Allotment Award Winners 2021
/in News /by Sally OldhamAtherstone Town Council Allotment Awards were presented at the Town Council on Wednesday 20th October 2021.
The Town Council manages two allotment sites in the Atherstone, one on Gypsy Lane and one on Bracebridge Road.
Over 150 tenants are eligible to enter the annual allotment awards and once again the standard of entries was very high.
